To the trade
Working with designers, architects and builders
You specify the finish. We make it true on the wall.
This page is for the people who bring us onto a project. The client's house is your project, and our job is to deliver the finish schedule as drawn, in the order the other trades need.
Wendell Grant leads trade accounts. He is the person you call, from the first walkthrough to handover.
What a trade project has
Four things that are the same every time
One named lead
Wendell Grant or a project lead he names, from the first site visit to handover. You never explain the job twice.
Samples on the real substrate
Your finishes painted on a board or a patch of the actual wall, and signed off before anything is ordered.
A proposal in your format
Priced from your finish schedule, line by line, so it can go to your client unchanged.
Coordination
We work to the program you set, around deliveries, installers and inspections.

From drawings to handover
How a trade project runs
- 01
Step 1: Brief
Send the finish schedule and drawings. Wendell reads them and asks what is unclear.
- 02
Step 2: Site visit
A walkthrough with you or your site lead. We note substrates, access and other trades.
- 03
Step 3: Proposal and samples
A written proposal against your schedule, and samples for approval.
- 04
Step 4: Handover
A walk-through with you, a touch-up list and a clean site.
Questions
For the trade
Do you carry a certificate of insurance?
Yes. A certificate is sent with each proposal, and to your client or their insurer on request.
Can you price from drawings alone?
We can give a first view from drawings. A written proposal follows a site visit, because substrates decide the preparation.
Do you work on new construction?
Yes, to the builder's program, after drywall, joinery and any plaster have cured.
Can you work to our specification?
Yes. If a specified product is not right for a substrate, we say so before ordering.
